- Use graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or an online banner maker to bring your sketch to life. When setting up your document, choose the correct dimensions and resolution (typically 300 DPI for print). Ensure the color mode is CMYK for accurate print colors.
- Integrate high-resolution images and ensure text is legible from a distance. Select fonts that enhance readability and align with your brand identity. Use branding elements harmoniously, such as logos and color schemes.
- Review your digital design for any inaccuracies or improvements. It's beneficial to get feedback from others to catch details you may have overlooked. Ensure that all elements work together cohesively and that the banner design is balanced.
- Before printing, check that your document settings are correct. Include appropriate bleed margins (usually around 0.125 inches) to prevent white edges after trimming. Save your file in an appropriate format, such as TIFF or PDF.
